Entry #6

Puppies are a lot more work than I expected. Sure I knew that they would bark a lot and I would be endlessly cleaning up accidents inside for a while, but what I didn’t expect is the amount of time and dedication it takes to raise a puppy correctly and effectively. I haven’t raised a baby before but I often find myself comparing my puppy to a baby. If raising a puppy is this difficult I can’t imagine how hard it must be to raise an actual human. From what I heard I haven’t even gotten to the most difficult time period for puppies yet. My puppy is 5 months old so he’s just getting big enough to where he still acts like a puppy but has a big enough frame to really cause some mayhem. I am very worried about the next few months but I will continue to do my best.

I woke up the other morning feeling swamped with tasks I needed to get done that day. Before I even began tackling the day I already felt lazy and slow. I was thinking of the reasoning behind the slow start and after taking a shower and feeling all cleaned up I realized that I needed more structure in my mornings. I didn’t necessarily adopt an entire morning routine yet however I began to shower first thing the morning. I don’t know the psychology behind it but it just seems to wake my body up and the sense of feeling clean is a strong motivator to tackle the day head on. As time goes on I plan on implementing more little morning tasks to help get more organized and feel like I’m more in control of my day. If you don’t have any sort of morning routine, even something as small as making your bed or taking a shower, I highly recommend you begin to do so. These little daily tasks are more effective than you may think.

I just recently began to dip my feet into the horror movie genre in the spirit of Halloween. After watching a few different films such as “Hereditary” and “Don’t Breath” I have realized what an excellent genre I’ve been missing out on my entire life. These films fill me with a sense of dread and anxiety. While on paper they do not seem like good feelings to have, these feeling actually enhance the viewing experience tenfold. Of course I could watch these films in broad daylight on my phone but in my opinion, a major part of the viewing experience is immersing yourself into the movie and just allowing yourself to be vulnerable and let the emotions consume you. I highly recommend watching some of these films if you haven’t dabbled into the horror genre of movies.

Entry #0 Good v.s. Bad Blog

There are two types of blogs, the ones that get your attention and can keep it throughout the entire post, and the ones that can't. It's that simple, there are many ways to make a good blog but I will use the blogging website Billboard. What I like about this blogging website is the color selection. The use of black blue and white colors work very well together and allows the readers to easily view the pages. I also appreciate the fact that there is no pop up ads and all of the adds are smaller on the side of the screen. I understand websites needs ads and am happy that Billboard doesn't shove them into your face when viewing their website, it allows for a smoother viewers experience. A smaller bonus that I enjoy about this website is how they show other trending blog titles on the right side of the screen without them taking over the blog I came to look at in the first place.  This blog is directed towards likeminded music consumers who like to keep up to date on what is ...
